To there and backwards

Short description:
A peasant and his family arrive to Paris to find a job. He finds it soon,
but discontented, changes his employers often. In search for better
job, a mediator tricks him, he angrily starts the quarrel with his
neighbor and, during fight, murders him. Escape, arrest, trial and
judgement: exile from France! Under his wife's and son's influence,
he stays in province and starts a job with his friend. But, the burglars
rob them, which gets the police on their trail. Endangered,
nervous, he gets drunk and beats his wife, and she reports him to police
in despair. But, the police intervention is unneeded, because he
is already dead.
